Austin Keathly
Attorney
Austin Keathly was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, Mr. Keathly went on to attend Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and minor in marketing in 2012. During his time at OSU, Mr. Keathly was a member of many student organizations, while also working for both the OSU men’s basketball and football programs.
Following graduation, Mr. Keathly attended the University of Tulsa College of Law on a merit scholarship. Mr. Keathly was the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Treasurer for the TU Law ACLU, and was a student editor for the Energy Law Journal. Additionally, he worked as an intern for the Kay County District Attorney’s Office before beginning an internship with a prominent Oklahoma personal injury firm for two years. Further, he volunteered for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, which provides free legal services to low income and elderly Oklahoma citizens, throughout his time in law school. Upon graduating, Mr. Keathly worked for an Oklahoma City based law firm which primarily handled Oil and Gas title verification and transactions before moving in-house for a Stillwater based Oil and Gas company. Mr. Keathly accepted a position with Wiggins Sewell & Ogletree in February of 2022 based on its experienced litigators and his desire to defend Oklahoma physicians, due to his brother being a local practicing physician.
Mr. Keathly is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.
