CHANCE HOLLAND grew up in Zena, Oklahoma, a small rural community on Grand Lake. After graduating from Grove High School in 2005, he attended the University of Arkansas and received his Bachelor’s in 2009. Chance then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2012 and was admitted to the Oklahoma bar that same year.
Chance currently specializes in the defense of healthcare professionals, transportation companies, and national insurers. He has acquired substantial jury trial experience over the last decade. As a result of his small town upbringing coupled with the professional mentorship he received early in his legal career as an associate at WSO, he is comfortable in the courtroom and effective in presenting his clients’ defenses to Oklahoma jurors from all walks of life. In 2023, Mr. Holland was recognized as an Oklahoma Super Lawyers “Rising Star.”
Mr. Holland is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts of Oklahoma. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, DRI, Luther Bohanon Inn of Court, and Lawyers Helping Lawyers, an OBA committee dedicated to providing support for Oklahoma attorneys struggling with addiction, depression, and other difficulties that affect their practice. A proud tribal member, Mr. Holland is also a member of the Cherokee Nation Bar.
Mr. Holland resides in Edmond with his wife, Kristin, and their sons William and James. He is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and former board member of the Western Foundation in Oklahoma City.
